Upgrading the current release on the Solaris live servers in the change duration by complying with ITIL practices. Tuning performance and monitoring the servers. Creating UNIX (shell and Perl) scripts for the regular maintenance of the Sun servers, scheduling of jobs, log maintenance etc. Apache server configurations, proxy settings in apache, virtual hosting, generating ssl certificate and incorporating the certificate with the server. Writing complex SQL queries to fetch data from database. Raise and implement RFC( request for change). Preparing knowledge base documents to facilitate easy knowledge transfer for other team members. Complying with the project life cycle processes
