Job profile for a Assistant Marketing Manager
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will have a key role in the implementation of BCFs worldwide marketing strategy. You will be involved in all aspects of the companys marketing function with a broad remit including; research, brand development, direct marketing, website development, preparation of marketing material, event management, advertising and PR. Principal Activities
Implementation of the marketing strategy
Research into new markets and monitoring competitor activity
Continuous development of the BCF brand and product branding
Delivering and measuring the effectiveness of direct marketing campaigns
Updating and developing the company website
Developing new marketing material including brochures, product literature, customer packs, sales material
Organisation and support of trade events throughout the UK
Co-ordination of press releases and PR material to trade and general media titles You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and Sales Manager to ensure that the company's marketing strategy is delivered. Implementation of the marketing strategy will involve working with the sales team, distributors, suppliers and agencies and you will have a key role in developing and managing these relationships. Qualifications and Experience You should be qualified to graduate level with 1-2 years experience in marketing and communications. Good communication skills, the ability to work independently, creatively and under pressure, are essential requirements for the role. A business knowledge of Spanish is preferable. Experience of working in the veterinary or technology market would also be an advantage.
