Job profile for a Childminder
A love of children, stamina, enjoy all aspects of play and craft. preferably at least an NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Childcare. An ability to carry out observations on the children in your care and record them as part of a Learning Journey. Carry out and record Risk Assessments. Complete First Aid and Safeguarding Training every 3 years. Be able to Complete Contracts and other paperwork for each child. be able to keep accounting records in order to complete Self Employment Tax Returns. If preparing food for the children preferably complete a Food Hygeine Course and Register with your local Environmental Health Dept as a Food Business. Register with OFSTED and undergo a detailed, graded inspection every 2/3 years.
