The main aspects of this role are to: • Lead and develop the Trust’s clinical effectiveness agenda ensuring the delivery of a Trust-wide strategy to provide services that meet national, mandatory and local initiatives in support of the clinical governance agenda; • Lead, advise and coach clinical directorate teams around the clinical effectiveness agenda; • Compiling reports and maintaining evidence for the Annual Health Check and other inspections; • Direct line management and professional development of the clinical audit team; • Develop and implement a Trust-wide strategy to support the dissemination of information and facilitate the incorporation of new knowledge into clinical practice (e.g. from NICE, confidential enquiries, NSFs).
