Description of the Key Objectives:- Responsible for the day to day Compliance Monitoring Programme Ensure Monecor (London) Ltd. and its staff operate within the rules of the FSA and all employees comply with both the spirit and letter of the FSA regulations. Principle Tasks and Responsibilities:- Compliance Ensure all employees are aware of the FSA initiative to Treat Customers Fairly Providing employees with TCF training (in the absence of the Compliance Officer) Approving of Financial promotions (in the absence of the Compliance Officer) Preparing documents concerning Customer Complaints Dealing with the Financial Ombudsman Service Periodic Review of Transaction reporting, and reporting findings to the Transaction Reporting Committee. Ensuring staff have appropriate registrations Compliance monitoring - checking verification documents - listening to staff calls - Reviewing files - Reviewing trades - Reviewing cash movements - Reviewing error reports Advising staff on Compliance matters Reporting suspicions of market abuse to the CO Investigating internal reports of market abuse reports Dealing with requests for information from the FSA Anti-Money Laundering Initial and ongoing training of staff (in the absence of the Compliance Officer) Maintaining systems to monitor unusual patterns or behaviour Investigating reports of money laundering Reporting suspicions of Money Laundering to the MLRO (or in their absence the Compliance Officer) Investigating matters of Fraud Approving account opening (in the absence of the Compliance Officer)
