Job profile for a Credit Controller/Manager
Key responsibilities: · Direct telephone, email and other correspondence with debtors seeking payment of fees – attendance notes of conversations and records of all correspondence to be kept on database. · Managing debtors and reminder procedures. · Feeding back details to both barristers and clerks re. fees and debtors. · Provide day-to-day support to the Financial Controller and the Chief Executive in relation to aged debt collection. · Production of monthly management debtors monitoring reports. · Assisting with billing of all case types e.g. Civil, Criminal, Family, Public and Private, Legal Aid, Graduated Fees, VHCC, HCCP, CFA, Court of Appeal cases. Training will be given. · Assisting with training and management of junior members of the team in relation to fees collection.
