Job profile for a Debt Recovery Manager

As Debt Recovery Manager I manage my own caseload of debt recovery claims, which involves receiving instructions from clients, checking instructions and working with administration staff for the purpose of preparing letters before action. Conducting proceedings for recovery of the clients’ debt to include negotiations for settlement, obtaining a Court Judgment and/or enforcement of the Court Judgment. Enforcement of Court Judgments. Reporting to clients both orally and in writing throughout the course of the proceedings. Taking instructions from clients. Attending hearings and instructing agents to attend where necessary.Liaising with clients, agents and Courts throughout the course of proceedings. Ensuring Client Service Level Agreements are adhered to (where in place). Preparing monthly reports for clients and ensuring billing is undertaken in accordance with arrangements agreed with clients. Also deal with the recovery of firms debts from clients who fail to pay their bills.
