This is done by looking at the age, size, insulation, construction type, heat loss, window types, and lighting within any kind of domestic property. An Energy Performance Certificate is issued to the homeowner / landlord by the Assessor, which is required by them to market the property. An accreditation or qualification is required to perform these assessments, which is renewed on an annual basis, subject to satisfactory performance in Quality Assurance.
