Day-to-day financial administration of a growing building refurbishment contracting company - with a turnover which has increased from circa £2.5M to £4.8M in the last 12months alone - including the processing of sales, purchases and overheads invoices. Dealing with all HMRC business management matters - including VAT returns, P11d dispensations, overseeing CIS administration, PAYE+NI and Corporation Tax. Main point of contact for the company’s business banking and administering all transactions, including management of day-to-day cash-flow and expenditure of funds. Entries to the company SAGE accountancy software package in its entirety (with up to £8.0M of entries to date). Financial Reporting - including contracts analysis to ascertain contract performance against that anticipated and ultimately producing performance percentages information, producing billing forecast schedules and assisting contract managers with day-to-day job financials and applications for payment, where necessary, etc. Assisting the shareholders with preparation of budget forecasts. Producing Management Accounts - including quarterly sales and costs accruals (WIP) reviews and analysis. Producing draft Statutory Company EOY Accounts. Acting as Company Secretary and dealing with all Companies House matters. Acting as Personnel Manager dealing with matters such as staff contracts, administering of salaries, company healthcare, PDR’s, where necessary, etc.
