remove burs from aerospace parts for instance using air compressed hand tools to put a 30 thousands of an inch edge break on parts adding chamfers to holes making sure the part meets metal finish as suggested by customer refering to prints and engineering for different tolerances example:say a part needs a edge break after being ran on a machine for safty reasons and to make sure the part fits i would read the print and it would tell me that the part requires a minimum .015 to maximum .030 thousands edge break i also use different types of measuring equipment to check thickness,width ,depth as to make sure i don't remove to much stock material off of parts im deburring i also make repairs on damaged parts nicks dents ect.. and blend parts that have been welded i work with a few different types of material including aluminum,inconel,birilium copper,titanium,stainless steel and while im not busy deburring i'll run 4 to 5 axis mills,lathes,drilling parts,and cleaning parts
