Group Human Resource Manager The role is a generalist Human Resource function coordinating all HR activities across all group subsidiaries from employee relations, recruitment, performance and behavioural management, psychometric profiling and preparations for Employment Tribunals. Employee Relations and Business Advisor Disciplinary process, grievance hearings, capability & conduct investigations, welfare meetings, redundancy, TUPE transfers, maternity/paternity rights, exit interviews, work with Company advocate in preparation of Tribunals Accurate advice / support to line-managers to supervise employee productivity and maximise business performance in line with best practice and employment legislation Recruitment, Performance, Improvement systems Review recruitment/selection process against the Recruitment and Employment Confederation Job Analysis, job design, advertising Recruitment designs, create job boards, set terms with external agencies and manage temporary staff Human Job Analysis – determining human behaviour profiles necessary to perform the job Monitor headcount levels, in-line with budgets and turnover to ensure adequate resource levels to deliver consistent and excellent services Restructuring, job-shares Facilitate Open Talent Discovery Days Offer of Employment, reference, CRB checks (Criminal Record Bureau), prepare Statement of Main Terms Create, review, implement and improve performance system against Person Profiling Assessments * Employee orientation, development, training Create training programmes, identify development courses to increase motivation, commitment, increase skill sets, productivity and customer service Employee community communication Arrange ‘staff surgery’ forums Intranet forums Organize work placements for students in schools and colleges Arrange placements for candidates under the Train to Gain Apprenticeship scheme Employee Safety, Welfare, Compensation & Benefits Create and maintain Health and Safety policies Employee counselling Conduct RISK assessments for welfare, maternity, new employees, work experience candidate Charitable giving Manage and set up Pension funds Salary reviews against industry standards and benchmarks Employee administration Collate payroll documentation, maintain employee ‘movement’ data, update headcount & salary reports, Update Employee Handbooks against Company and Legislation Policies Manage Company insurance claims, arrange visa requirements for International festivals
