• Ensure stock integrity is maintained at the highest standard from an accuracy and storage condition perspective. • Ensure that Inventory labour cost and specific overheads fall within targeted costs through the implementation of robust control mechanisms. • Ensure compliance to DTP contractual requirements through the achievement of specific KPIs. • Ensure all inventory related tasks are performed satisfactorily and within required time windows. • Audit and investigate count overrides and stock discrepancies, escalating to the Service Centre Manager any potential stock loss above an agreed threshold • Maintain system security through the management of new user set up and authority levels • Ensure the reconciliation of all paperwork regarding Goods inwards deliveries, supplier invoices, supplier credit claims, uplifts i.e. maintenance of Bought Ledger. • Ensure maximum value is realised for discontinued lines • Review overstocks and takes appropriate action • Organise company or mandatory DTP supplier stock takes in line with requirements • Organise regular qualitative and quantitative audits and reports on findings • Ensure that product batch recalls are dealt with promptly • Monitor productivity performance and agreed KPIs with the Service Centre Manager and ensure targets are met or exceeded • Ensure effective liaison with Central Replenishment, other Head Office personnel, other Service Centres, suppliers and upstream customers. • Provide prompt feedback to customer related queries • Ensure the department meet all H&S requirements and Direct Reports are aware of their responsibilities. • Ensure compliance to GDP procedures • Provide effective leadership and motivation through regular team briefings • Take appropriate steps to maintain IIP accreditation, agreeing clear objectives for direct reports and monitoring performance through annual appraisal process as per company guidelines. • Recruit, train and develop all direct reports, maintaining appropriate liaison with Human Resources department.
