Job profile for a Mis Analyst

Perform daily data gathering, analysis, and reporting utilizing various data sources. The production of time sensitive daily reports will provide actionable data that will assist Operation Managers in the planning and management of personnel and technology resources. Analyse and consolidate data to produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, ad hoc and annual reporting utilizing various data sources and interaction with various lines of business and Operations area. Assist the Operations business units to identify possible solutions to the issues/problems identified. Partner with business/process owners to determine and refine reporting and analysis requirements Develop, test and implement daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports that enable data driven business decisions. Partner with various Database / Management Information Systems (MIS) analysts to test and implement new data sources and repositories. Responsibilities include: 1. Work on strategic projects to drive the operations business forward 2. Communicate and present analytical findings to the management team 3. Identify data necessary to support daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports 4. Analyse large pools of data to discover trends, patterns, correlations that will assist Managers in making better business decisions going forward 5. Create and design reports for the management team and business unit level Operation Managers 6. Engage with metric owners from each business unit to identify key causes behind data trends/ irregulartites 7. Provide actionable data to the Operations Senior Management to enable them to make proactive business decisions and/or react quickly to changes in the business environment 8. Identify process improvements to streamline date collection and report creation
