Job profile for a Reception Teacher

It is the last year of the EYFS children are 4 to 5 years old, have often left nursery to go to primary school where they start in Reception class before moving on to key stage one. The hours are the same as school (8.30 to 3.30/4) and the children have lessons but there is also free choice and play time...more space in the classroom and more individual attention for each child rather than workbooks which everyone follows regardless of strength. in reception we aim for the children to start writing, learn letters so start reading, addition, subtraction study a project each term etc. hope this helps.
