Job profile for a Retail Manager

As a Store Manager i am responsible for the overall running of the store in all aspects from driving turnover by always ensuring the highest standards of store appearance and the actioning of all Merchandising guidelines as set by the company, controlling set wage budgets meeting store turnover targets and ensuring stockloss is kept to minimum. Other areas i am ultimately responsible for are recruitment, on the job training, Disciplinary procedures and Security in particular stockloss. Two other key areas also are training all staff in all areas of Health & Safety and continuing to uphold all aspects of Fire Safety legislation whilst ensuring all staff are also trained on all important aspects. Ultimately in my role i am responsible and accountable for anything and everything that goes on in the store.
