Job profile for a Science Technician

Prepare and clear away all experiments carried out in science lessons in a secondary school. Place orders for stationery and equipment. Photocopy work sheets. Prepare all equipment needed for exams (GCSE AS and A2). Carry out annual inventorys. We are the workers behind all science carried out in secondary schools and without us science experiments would not take place as teachers do not have the knowledge or time to prepare the equipment. Basically I see our role as vital to science education.
