screen printing is an old method of printing through a mesh on a metal frame with a nagative film. the inks is passed through by forcing the ink on to the mesh where the film alouses. There are lots of different types of materials that are prined this way all for which use different inks and retarders, and different methods of curing. some print work air dries and some is uv. Lots of the print work is multible colours and are layed down in a correct order to avoid problems such as shadowing, and colours changing, also a lot of screen printing is colour matching. to Ral and pantone so a good eye is a must.

check artwork understand drawings and dimentions, know different types of materials, and which inks to use with which. understand the order to lay the colous down, know what mesh to use.
