Job profile for a Senior Packing Supervisor
Generation of daily work spools from database. Source, tender and purchase all materials within department. Oversee and assist all supervisory functions within packing and returns departments. Collation of monthly production reports and any other data monitoring systems incorporated in two departments. Oversee label design on all printers. Act as absence cover for packing and returns manager, admin clerk, supervisors and chargehand at both warehouse sites as and when required. Set benchmark timings to ensure best method testing whilst keeping labour and material costs down. Assist packing and returns manager with generation of customer packaging/labour coatings for national account managers. Liase with all suppliers and other company departments. Assist packing and returns manager in any other unforeseen tasks.
