Briefly: it is the network planners job to enable the logical and structured build and/or growth of networks by analysing,assessing the data "traffic" requirements and finaly specifying the necessary building blocks in a form that can be interpreted and actioned by teams actually installing the physical parts of the network. The boundaries of our work are often blurred with 'network design'. We are the missing link between design and build stages of operational networks.
