Improving Your Credit Rating

Many financial institutions will check your credit rating before giving you credit either through credit cards or through a loan or mortgage and so on and so forth.

So how can you improve your credit rating if it is poor? Well by being responsible.

Pay off all your bills in full each month and don't spend more than you get in - be responsible.

Also be aware that the more credit cards and so on you take out this is reflected on and can lower your credit rating. Therefore if you have loads of interest free credit cards and move every few months this can actually show up on your credit rating.

Remember therefore to be responsible with finances and your credit rating should be just fine.

Finally remember that you can always find out what your credit report says by paying a small charge and potentially challenging the information on there as inaccurate, if indeed it is.
