Number Of Companies: UK Employees

This report lists the average number of companies respondents to our salary surveys had had, and segments this by age.

What does this report show? It shows the average number of companies that our respondents have worked at.

Therefore if the age is 17 and the number of jobs is one, it means the average number of companies that the 17 year olds who responded to our survey have worked for is one. Likewise for any age, hence as expected you will see a directional increasing trend as people get older; the decrease towards the end indicates that people towards the older age brackets are from a generation that tended to have one 'job for life' hence the number falls away a little at the end.
