The breakaway gap: Currency Analysis
Well, it shows that there is enthusiasm for a major move in the market one way ot the other.
In fact what it does, more than that, is it signals the start of the end of the current trend with regard that particular currency.
As such it is often seen as particularly significant when this sort of gap is found in the price changes of a currency for the reason that it shows that a change of heart is occurring and depending which way the gap goes, things are either looking up or down and people will want to reflect and update their position and so on in that currency as a result.
