Dividend

Dividends are well known to those of you who own stocks and shares.

A dividend is a payment that is made to those who hold a share, and most shares pay out of dividend. This could be on a range of bases, for instance quarterly or perhaps annually.

Dividends can be paid in different ways: but typically for stocks and shares they are in cash form.
